CSLF Scholarship Opportunity

In remembrance of Rosemarie Bernier, the California School Library Foundation is offering a $1500 scholarship to a student who is pursuing a Teacher Librarian Services credential.

The application deadline is June 30, 2022. The decision will be made by mid July. 

Rosemarie Bernier was a longtime CSLA member, who served in many roles, including President. She also was active in school library advocacy within her district, as President of the Los Angeles School Library Association, and served on the state committee that authored the Model School Library Standards for California schools. It is our hope that this scholarship will be one way to honor her legacy as a library leader.

Preference will be given to applicants who have not been awarded a CSLA or CSLF scholarship.
