Children’s author and author Michael Slack has work featured in CSLA’s CafePress. He is best known for Monkey Truck and Elecopter. His visual style is playfully modernistic and features quirky characters in bold colors. He is a character designer whose works appear in books, posters, TV, and games. His work has been exhibited in the US and Europe, and his art has been recognized by the Society of Illustrators Los Angeles and SBS Digital. He lives in Lafayette, California, with his wife and daughter. He has been witnessed making monkey faces in the mirror, and he hopes to shake hands with a chimp sometime. (image by Michael Slack).
